Terms & Conditions
Celebrations By Us — General Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Retainer
A signed agreement and non-refundable retainer are required to secure your event date. Dates are not reserved until both are received. The remaining balance must be paid in full by the due date outlined in your invoice or agreement.
2. Payments
We accept payments via approved methods listed on your invoice. Late payments may result in service delays, cancellation, or additional fees. Any unpaid balances must be settled prior to service delivery.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
All retainers are non-refundable.
• Cancellations made by the client will result in forfeiture of the retainer.
• Rescheduling requests will be accommodated based on availability and must be made in writing. Additional fees may apply.
4. Service Changes
Any changes to event details, guest count, design selections, or service hours must be submitted in writing. Adjustments may affect pricing and must be approved by both parties.
5. Event Access & Setup
Client agrees to provide safe and timely access to the venue for setup and breakdown. Delays caused by venue restrictions or access issues may result in reduced service time without refund.
6. Client Responsibilities
Client is responsible for:
• Obtaining venue permissions and permits if required
• Providing accurate event details
• Ensuring a safe environment for staff and equipment
Celebrations By Us reserves the right to discontinue services if conditions are unsafe or if staff are subjected to harassment or illegal activity.
7. Damage & Liability
Client assumes responsibility for any damage to rental items, décor, equipment, or venue property caused by guests or third parties. Replacement or repair costs will be billed to the client.
Celebrations By Us is not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, venue issues, power outages, acts of God, or third-party vendor failures.
8. Overtime
Services exceeding contracted time will incur overtime fees at the established hourly rate, subject to staff and equipment availability.
9. Rentals & Equipment
All rental items remain the property of Celebrations By Us and must not be removed, altered, or used improperly. Missing or damaged items will be invoiced at replacement value.
10. Photo & Media Release
Celebrations By Us may photograph or record portions of the event for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to the event.
11. Force Majeure
Celebrations By Us shall not be held responsible for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies.
12. Agreement
By booking services, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
